Here Are Some Completed Forms for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.

The Chapter 7 Bankruptcy forms have their own idiosyncrasies. I have found that it always helps anyone seeking bankruptcy information to see a few examples of ones that have been completed.

The bankruptcy court provides these documents, also known as schedules, for free. The site is found at U.S. Bcy. This site makes it possible to fill in your own information in each schedule and then print it.

To see how your completed form compares with one prepared by a professional, I’ve provided a short list of some that have been completed.

This list is not exhaustive. I am simply providing a few examples of these documents to help you get started.

If you would like me to reproduce a particular schedule you are interested in, please go to Contact Me. and I will make every attempt to comply with your request

You may print each one for future reference. They are in PDF format.

IF YOUR ARE PREPARING A DO IT YOURSELF BANKRUTPCY, YOU MUST BE SURE TO ENTER YOUR OWN INFORMATION INTO THE PARTICULAR SCHEDULE. THE DATA THAT IS FILLED IN IS FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING AN EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETED DOCUMENT.

Some Completed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Schedules

1. Schedule B – Personal Property. I’ve included this one because it is very helpful in that it sets out the kind of personal property the bankruptcy court requires to be listed. The value used is what the item is worth today, not what you paid for it: Schedule B. 2. Schedule C - Property Claimed as Exempt. This schedule shows an example of a state that has adopted the federal exemptions. Your state exemptions can be found at this link: State Exemptions. The completed document is at Schedule C. 3. Schedule D - Secured Debt. See the link in Number 4, below, for a discussion on secured and unsecured debt. This completed schedule is at Schedule D. 4. Schedule F – Creditors Holding Unsecured Nonpriority Claims. This will be the bulk of your creditors. Secured and unsecured debts are discussed at Unsecured Debt You can find the example at

Schedule F. 5. Schedule J - Current Expenditures. I include this one because it contains each specific category of monthly expenses the bankruptcy court recognizes. Schedule J.
